John Glover & Allison Mack Participate In Memorial Day Alzheimer's Event

Salisbury, Maryland's WB and the Delmarva Shorebirds are teaming up to bring a spectacular Memorial Day Celebration on May 30 to raise money for the fight against Alzheimer's. This game itself will be a kick off to summer as well as venue to educate our fans about the symptoms and affects of Alzheimer's.

It will all start with a Memorial Day 5K Run to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of the Eastern Shore. The official starter is the Magnificent You-Know-What himself, John Glover.

The Alzheimer's Association is offering a special chance to participate in a Meet-and-Greet Dinner with Mr. Glover and some other potential guests. At the event itself Mr. Glover will be taking the time to sign autographs and meet with his fans. Special Smallville-themed jerseys have been donated that will be auctioned off at the event.

For more detailed information, read the press release here.

UPDATE: We have learned that John Glover will be joined by "Chloe Sullivan" herself, Allison Mack, at the event. So, all of you who go to the event and help support the charity will get to meet not just one, but TWO of Smallville's best actors!

Also, it's worth noting that this month celebrates the 5th anniversary of the initial launch of this website! I'm so pleased we've been able to keep the site growing and expanding, and of course, that we were able to become "official" last year. Here's to the year ahead, and to all who have helped contribute through the years. Thank you, everyone!
